About The Lords
The Lords Banquet is a Marcopolo Events venue located on Main Karsaz Road. Media Feathers tackled the social media management for The Lords, creating content around the venue, its events and its unique visual details.
Our strategy was to use the space itself and the events taking place there as the foundation for the content. This gave us different content directions to work with, from the venue’s exterior and interiors to event setups, lighting and decor.
The Project
The Lords has several strong visual elements that could be turned into social content, such as its geometric building. We planned the page around a mix of venue-focused and event-focused posts, so the content could show the area as well as the versatility of functions taking place inside it.
Video was an important part of this project. We created walkthrough-style content that moved through the venue, bringing the facade and floral round backdrop together in one piece. Other posts focused on individual setups, stages and details instead of showing the entire banquet every time.
Showing the Venue Through Video
A walkthrough gives viewers a different look at a venue than a single photograph. For The Lords, we used video to move the audience through the space and bring attention to its facade and illuminated lobby from the entrance to the stage, just through their phones. This approach allowed several parts of the venue to appear together, giving the audience a fuller look at the banquet while keeping the content visually engaging.
Building Content Around Event Setups
The events held at The Lords gave us another stream of visual content. Stage designs, seating, lighting and decor change with different functions, so we used those changes to keep the content varied.
The focus was on showing finished setups as they appeared during the events held. Different decor styles could appear across the page while The Lords remained the common element.
Using Smaller Details as Content
We also looked past the full-room shot. Lighting, architectural details, stage elements and individual areas of the venue could each become the focus of a post or reel.
This gave us more ways to create content from the same location. A wider shot could establish the space, while a closer visual could draw attention to a particular part of a setup.
Showing the Range of Events
Wedding functions were an important part of the content, while the strategy also made room for The Lords’ wider event offering. The venue caters to customised events, giving us another direction to bring into the social media content.
Different event setups helped show how the banquet can change with the occasion, be it the decoration or the stage. Our social media management agency put special emphasis on this area because corporate events and other celebrations were also part of the target pain point.
Adding the Information People Need
The visual content was paired with practical details such as the location and booking contact. We kept these details in the caption with the content so someone interested in a particular setup could also find the information needed to enquire right away.
The Result
Media Feathers’ social media management gave The Lords a content mix built around the venue, its events and the USPs that make them different.
The page could move between walkthroughs, event footage, venue details and finished setups while keeping the focus on The Lords and the events it hosts.
