The Background
Tyfon has been in existence for more than 70 years. Established in 1951, it’s one of the longest-running and reliable brands in the field of pest elimination and products for household use in Pakistan. While their product’s quality and heritage were exemplary however their online presence didn’t show their reputation.
There was no website that was active and were not showing up in search results the way they should. As consumer behavior shifted more online, they needed a platform that could share their brand story, highlight their product range, and bring them visibility–especially to new, younger audiences. They partnered together with Media Feathers.
The First Step: Building a Website That Works
We began with an empty canvas. Tyfon required a website that was fast, clean and simple to navigate. Their target audience spans from business and retail distributors to customers who are just everyday, so we made sure that everything was simple.
We collaborated with their team to design the structure and content. What we designed:
- A clear and concise homepage that describes who they are as well as what they do.
- Pages of products with each type of product (insecticides pesticides, insecticides, household cleaning)
- A profile of the company and a history section that highlights the long-standing tradition of the company.
- Contact page for inquiries and dealer communications
- Mobile responsiveness to users using phones to browse and tablets
The layout is clean and clear. We incorporated their branding colors and incorporated fresh visuals to give the site an updated, professional appearance without losing their brand identity.
Optimizing for Search (SEO)
After the website was live and running, we immediately moved into SEO. Tyfon was not showing up in the results of searches for several relevant terms that were in connection with their business.
We performed a complete keyword analysis and identified the phrases that customers were actually looking for, such as “household pesticides in Pakistan,” “mosquito spray,” and “Tyfon insect killer.” We then optimized:
- Meta descriptions and page titles
- Descriptions of products and headings
- Internal links to ensure a smoother site flow
- Alt text on images to increase accessibility and improve search results
We also made sure that the website was light and speedy that improves user experience as well as SEO.
Making It Easy for Tyfon to Manage
Tyfon had no internal IT department to handle regular updates or changes. We used a CMS (Content Management System) which allows them to modify content and upload new products or update contact information without coding expertise. We also provided them with an overview of the process so that the team was able to handle the task by themselves.
